Intersec Group is a French GeoData software vendor. We develop innovative software programs that allow telecom operators to leverage data acquired through their networks, to enrich their services or improve their internal processes.

Our technology processes and consolidates massive amounts of data from heterogeneous computing devices and networks, transforming them into real-time factual elements that are intelligible for decision-making.

Intersec Group modular and highly scalable solutions range from basic customer management to location-based services and business analytics. They are deployed in more than 80 countries, through an open architecture, with no 3rd party dependency.

We collaborate with leading telecommunications operators and governments around the world, tackling critical Data management and Geolocation challenges.

We are a team of 120 people, with offices in Paris (HQ), Dubai and Singapore.


Description
Intersec is hiring five Senior Business Development Managers across the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America to drive the deployment of early warning and public alerting solutions in the world's most disaster-exposed regions.
As a global leader in telecom-based location intelligence and civil protection technology, Intersec works with governments and mobile network operators to build population-scale, multi-hazard early warning systems — enabling real-time alerting for earthquakes, floods, cyclones, and other hazards. Our solutions directly support the UN "Early Warnings for All" initiative and national Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) strategies aligned with the Sendai Framework.
Your mission
Based in Latin America and reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will lead strategic sales efforts to expand the adoption of life-saving early warning infrastructure across your region. You will engage national civil protection agencies, emergency management authorities, ministries of interior, and telecom regulators, helping them build the systems that warn and protect entire populations in real time.
Key responsibilities
  • Build and develop C-level partnerships with government agencies and telecom operators involved in disaster risk management and public warning
  • Assist in driving the company’s product and market strategies.
  • Drive full sales cycles: new account acquisition, prospecting, solution selling, negotiation, and closing of large-scale deals
  • Acting as a strategic selling leader to close significant deals and hit sales quotas.
  • Identify national and regional needs for multi-hazard warning infrastructure and tailor value propositions accordingly
  • Contribute to regional DRR strategies by positioning Cell Broadcast, location-based SMS alerting, and mass notification technologies
  • Develop commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management
  • Cross-sell complementary civil protection solutions where appropriate
  • Create awareness about Intersec in several accounts and groups where the name was not heard before.
  • Represent Intersec in industry or promotional events (e.g., trade shows) and recruit new sponsors.

Profile
  • 5+ years professional sales experience, resilient and result-oriented with a proven track record in sales in LATAM with the Government and Telecommunications industry.
  • Profound understanding of various licenses of business models (subscription, SaaS, term-licensed).
  • Experience in selling in Telcom environment (Core Network equipment, Radio, CRM, VAS Platform).
  • Consistent and documented success in selling large deals exceeding $1 million.
  • Trusted advisor, selling on C level in B2B and B2G markets.
  • In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis.
  • Business case focused: able to drive a business case, build a value proposition.
  • Strong skills on selling value-based solutions.
  • Excellent customer service (Client's reference checks will be performed).
  • Excellent organizational, leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce ideally) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Availability to travel as needed across the region.
  • Fluent English is mandatory, additionally to Spanish.
